Your photo is used to design a character that truly looks like your child, rendered in Heronia's signature 3D cinematic illustration style rather than a raw photo. The source photo is automatically deleted once the book is produced.

Yes, a preview is shown before purchase, and you can adjust the information provided to rewrite the story.

Digital books have nothing to ship — once the story and illustrations pass quality control, your PDF is ready to download, usually within minutes. Printed books go through the same story and illustration process, then are printed and shipped to your door by our print partner Gelato, which adds production and delivery time on top.

Choose at checkout: a digital PDF, formatted to read comfortably on a phone, tablet or computer (no app required, and you're welcome to print it yourself if you'd like), or a real hardcover book, printed and shipped to your door. Printed books currently ship to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Luxembourg.

In line with GDPR, only the data needed to create the book is kept, and you can request the export or deletion of your data at any time from your account.

Yes — every book you buy is kept forever. If you lose the link, go to "Find my books" (in the Account link) and enter the email you used at checkout to get back to it, as many times as you like, on any device.

Message us before or after delivery with what feels off — a detail, a likeness, the tone of the story — and we'll adjust it. If we can't make it right, we'll refund the order.

Checkout runs entirely through Stripe, the same payment processor used by millions of online stores — we never see or store your card details. Prices start from the amount shown on each collection, with the current 15% launch discount already applied before you pay.
