Terms of Sale

These terms govern the sale of personalized books generated from the information and photo provided by the customer, in the countries where the brand operates. Two formats are available, chosen by the customer at checkout: a digital book (PDF file, nothing printed or shipped) or a printed hardcover book, printed and shipped by our print partner Gelato to the address provided by the customer.

Order and personalization

The customer confirms they hold the necessary rights over the photo and information provided (in particular the consent of the people shown, especially minors). For a printed order, the customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Digital delivery

Once generation and quality control are complete, the digital book is made available for download as a PDF in the customer's account (My Library), typically within minutes. No shipping address is required for this format.

Printed book delivery

For a printed order, the same personalization, story-writing and illustration process runs first; the finished book is then printed and shipped by our print partner Gelato to the address provided at checkout. Printing and shipping add time on top of the digital generation step, and vary by destination country. Printed books currently ship to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Luxembourg.

Right of withdrawal

As a personalized product generated and/or manufactured on demand from the customer's own photo and information, the customer acknowledges that the standard right of withdrawal is waived: for the digital book, once the download begins, in accordance with applicable digital content regulations; for the printed book, as goods made to the customer's specifications and clearly personalized, in accordance with applicable consumer regulations in the country of sale.
